Possibility. It’s a cool place to dwell, full of hope and imaginings about the future. Dwell there and you think things are possible. I guess that’s a duh kind of thing to say. Duh or not, it’s what I’ve been thinking about these last couple days.
I’m always trying to think of new ways to spread Spontaneous Smiley. Recently I’ve reach out to what can only be called slim chances. But here’s one thing I know for sure (sounding a bit like Oprah here), they can’t say, “Yes.” if you don’t ask.
Of course, they also can’t say, “No.” if you don’t ask. But aren’t you kind of answering, “No.” on their behalf when you choose not to even put the possibility out there?
And really, is hearing, “No.” such a hard thing to bear? Consider it data to help you formulate a better concept and a better way of presenting it. Then go forward dwelling in the possibility that the newly re-figured idea will take!
Optimism really does open doors, often doors we ourselves have shut.
Smile. Be happy!
