Oddly, I discovered it’s Port-a-Potty Day over on our September calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness. A holiday for portas, really? BTW, our monthly calendar we always take note of the full moons. We get one tonight.
I’ll be doing my part for another of today’s holidays, Playdo Day, making snakes and balls and pancakes at work today. I’ll have you know, I’m quite the expert, a really Playdo rock star. Playdo gets a second celebration this month on the 18th.
Avocado Smiley for yummy guacamole!
Here’s a favorite for me, it’s Guacamole Day! I could eat guacamole every day. Some guacamole a day, keeps the doctor away as surely as the other food of the day. Oh and if you forget to eat an apple today, no worries. It’s also Apple Day again on September 18th.
Today we also celebrate the debut of The Road Ruuner and Wiley Coyote, back in 1949. My dear old dad used to laugh until tears rolled down his cheeks watching this cartoon. He was a gadget ordering and tinkering guy. A gene that went straight to my son Lyle.
And on a really important note, it’s Wife Appreciation Day. If I’m a little late getting tomorrow’s Smiley posted, forgive me. I’m guessing I might be tired out with all the appreciating Dave’s going to be doing on my behalf this day.
