Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Call-in Well Day. Seems like quite a lovely idea. Wouldn’t you want to take that day off when you’re feeling well. I’m not advocating your deceiving your boss, but rather ask if some of your sick days couldn’t be used as well days. Convince a friend to join you at playing hooky and you can share Friendship Day with them as well.
In honor of the birthday of Dick Clark we celebrate Perpetual Youth Day. If you don’t get why, maybe hop over to Wikipedia and look him up. Sharing Dick’s birthday are Ben Stillar (1965), Mark Twain (1835), Billy Idol (1955), Mandy Patinkin (1952), Robert Guillaume (1927), and the wonderful Shirley Chisholm (1924) who was the first African-American woman elected to Congress in 1968. Whoo, that’s a lot of birthdays! Imagine the party they could host!
Here’s a good one: Change All of Your Passwords Day. But that’s better done more often than just once a year! Yikes, once a month would be better. Maybe make it your plan to do it on the last day of every month.
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
