Sing
Out Loud
Day
The only thing better
than singing,
is more singing.
~ Ella Fitzgerald
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Pastry Day. For Sing Out Loud Day, maybe try singing about your pastry. Good old Mr. Rogers could make up a song about anything. Don’t know who Mr. Rogers is? Look him up! He was a great and gentleman– and not just for children (even if it is Children’s Day).
It’s also Roller Skate Day. Not one I’ll be celebrating! LOL, not looking for any broken bones.
I forgot to mention that yesterday was Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day. So maybe I need to do a little time traveling back to yesterday and amend the Smiley of the Day. We are all time travelers in a sense, mental time travelers. “Mental time-travel is one of the greatest gifts of the mind.” – Claudia Hammond. The other kind of time travel, we have to leave to movies and cartoons.
Celebrating birthdays today we have Donny Osmond (1957), Emmett Kelly (1898), John Malkovich (1953), Redd Foxx (1922), Judy Dench (1934), Felicity Huffman (1962), and Margaret Hamilton (1902). man! Imagine a dinner party with that gang!
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
Plus, as is often the case, the Music Smiley you get in the Smiley-a-Day emailer is different from what you see here.
