Over on our calendar of a Month of Smiley Silliness it is also Glam Day. I love doing the whole glam thing just as much as I love a day in PJs. It’s almost Oscars’ glam day. To tell the truth I watch the red carpets for the clothes and then rarely watch the award shows. A couple years back I was a Social Media commentator with Fanity Fair for the Oscars. It was a ton of fun and I got to dress up everyday for a week and meet a bunch of big stars. I was invited last year and again this, but I’m staying close to home because my mom needs me. I’ll be there is spirit, if not in my rhinestones.
Glam Day, haha. It falls 2 days after Yam Day. MMS (Made Me Smile).
Today we say happy birthday to Steve Jobs (1955) of Apple fame. If I told you there’s a book out there where my little happiness project was sandwiched between Steve’s little computer company (Apple) and Mark’s little social network (Facebook), would you believe it? It’s true!
My favorite thing about today is it’s my 5 year wedding anniversary! Happy anniversary to me and my great hubby, Dave! I make a point of noticing and remembering the most important times of my life. I do it not just once a year, but everyday.
