June 25
Chocolate Pudding Day
Your face
makes my soul
want to eat chocolate pudding!

I’m thinking, this is a pretty lovey
thing to say to someone. ~ Ruth
Today’s Smiley photo is one of the pics that made it into A SMILEY BOOK OF COLORS, a child’s book of optimism. If you buy it from the Smiley website, it’s a couple dollars cheaper and you get it autographed.
Over on a calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness we begin Tell Them They’re Beautiful Week. Isn’t that lovely.
It’s Just Let It Go Day If you can imagine looking back on the thing that is driving you crazy right now, in a day, a week or a year would it be something that really mattered? If you’re able to see that you’d shrug it off in the future, why not do so today. Life is so much better when we say, “Oh well” and let it go! Note: This holiday predates the song in Disney’s Frozen.
Don’t forget to enjoy tonight’s full moon. As always, I say don’t miss out on the cool stuff that surrounds us every day.
One other wack-o celebration fall on June 25. Leon Day in honor of it being exactly 6 months until Christmas. Don’t get it? L-e-o-n is N-o-e-l spelled backwards. If I’d only had a boy born on this day, I think I’d have named him Leon.
Today (for once) I actually recognize a bunch of the birthday peeps. There’s Ricky Gervais (1961), George Michael (1963), Jimmie Walker (1947), Carly Simon (1945), Sonia Sotomayor (1954), George Orwell (1903), and Antoni Gaudi (1852). Ricky, animal activist, is one of my favorite people ever! I LOVE his show called Derek. His gentle heart speaks to mine.
It is also Beatles Day celebrated this day, in conjunction with the anniversary of the debut of Our World, the first ever international, satellite television production, featuring artists and musicians from all over the world (1967). BTW, the Beatles debuted All You Need is Love on the show.
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
