Beware of Snakes Day
A Snake Jokes that struck me as punny:
A man and his pet snake walk into a bar and says, “One more for me…and one more for my snake.” Suddenly, the snake falls over dead. The man pays and starts to leave. The bartender, yells: “Hey buddy, you can’t just leave that lyin’ there.” To which the man replies: “That’s not a lion, that’s a snake.”
It’s also Hot Fudge Sundae Day over on our calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness. If I had to pick between a snake and a sundae, I’d have no problem. Sorry, snakes. I think I’ll take my ice cream and head to the merry-go-round in Tilden Park to celebrate the birthday of said invention back in 1871. I’ll be sure to keep an eye peeled for snakes in the park.
Today we say happy birthday to the first test tube baby, Louise Joy Brown back in 1978. Other birthdays celebrated today include Matt LeBlanc (1967) and Estelle Getty (1923) both of TV sitcom fame. They both MMS (Made Me Smile).
