Pop Music Day
After silence,
that which comes nearest
to expressing the inexpressible
is music.
~ Aldous Huxley
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness we celebrate the birthday of the blender (1910) with a great Blender Smiley submitted by a member of the Spontaneous Smiley community.
Today is also the anniversary of the first appendectomy, back in 1885. Seems crazy to me that people figured out the appendectomy before the blender (1910). That thought MMS (Made Me Smile, it’s the new LOL.).
Happy Birthday Isaac Newton (1643), Louis Braille (1809 the inventer of braille reading technique), Coco Jones (1998), and Michael Stipe (1960).
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
Plus, as is often the case, the Music Smiley you get in the Smiley-a-Day emailer is different from what you see here.
