Woo Hoo, it’s Recreation Day!! Let’s all get out there and recreate!! Oh, come on! Go have some fun! Your work and chores will be there when you get back! It’s not irresponsible to goof off. In fact it is responsible. Love yourself by having some fun. Recreate!

It’s also Sugar Cookie Day over on a calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness. It’s also the anniversary of the patent of the donut cutter (1872). Weigh in, are you a sugar cookie kind of person or a donut person. And remember the term “weigh in” when you contemplate either treat.
Today we say happy birthday to Tom Hanks (1956). Loved your movie Forrest Gump. I know some people thought it was dopey and sappy, but I loved it. Yes, sappy, dopey, little old me liked it.
