As everyone knows, it’s Earth Day. Good old Earth. Such a great planet. Did you know there are 3 things you as an individual that help dear old Earth? Save water, drive less, and be a vegetarian. You don’t have to do it all, but you can do some. Right? And by the by, it’s Water Day, too. So save some of that precious stuff every chance you get!

Today we say happy birthday to John Waters (1946), Eddie Albert (1918), and Jack Nicholson (1937). And if the boys don’t want cake, give them Jelly Beans for Jelly Bean Day. I’d get a hoot out of dining with John Waters. I met him last year and he was just as nice as can be! Did anyone else get a little smile on their face when they thought about John Waters being born on Water Day?

It is also Take Your Kid to Work Day. I bet that would make for a more civil work place. I’ve often been shocked by how rude some adults are to each other. Maybe a bunch of kids running around would help shape them up – manners wise.
