I almost used this quote: “Hating the Yankees is as American as pizza pie, unwed mothers, and cheating on your income tax.” ~Mike Royko.
But I didn’t want Yankee fans to get their panties in a twist. But, I think even die hard Yankee fans should see the humor, feel the pride in their team’s power being so regarded. Plus as an Oakland A’s fan, the quote MMS (MadeMeSmile).
It’s also Beach Day over on the monthly Smiley Calendar and Walk to Work Day. Imagine how great it’d be if you could walk to your job, at the beach! The only thing better would be walking to a beach without having to go to work. As we start Laugh at Work Day, imagine how much you’d laugh if you worked at the beach!

For Beach Day here’s Frolicking on a beach in Virginia, my first Atlantic Ocean frolic. Don’t you love that you have to add a K to frolic before adding the ING to make frolicking? Well I do. Love word play. Does that make me a verbavour?
Today we say happy birthday to Booker T. Washington (1856) and Gregory Peck (1916). Two talented individuals.
