This is one of those heaters for outdoor diners at the Poor House Bistro in San Jose (near HP Pavilion, aka, SJ Shark Tank). It’s not exactly smiling here, but then it wasn’t in use yet either!
I was just changing the batteries in my camera , looked down to check the screen….and voila!
I’m thinking they are just finding ME. I chopped off the base of my celery stalk and saw this cute face. I love nature! It is so random sometimes.

CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY!
In September 2005, I sliced off the heel of a sourdough loaf, and this guy was smiling back at me. I still have it in a baggie in a kitchen cupboard. Hard as a rock now.
Ruth: I did the same thing, but after it was hard as a rock I shellacked it. Then I glues a pin to the back making it into a broach. I sent it to Ellen hoping she’d invite me to be on the Ellen Show. I’m still waiting for the call…
I found this Smiley when I was in Beijing, China in a drum tower (like a bell tower but with drums). It was on the floor where the door closes.
While out shopping today, Keri (from the back seat) said, “Hey mom, it’s a face!”
I was sitting at my desk talking to my girlfriend on AIM and I looked over at the gel thing on my desk and the top had a smiley and I thought of her.

I found two smileys at the end of band rehearsal in Deluxe Thumps.
