I’m Courtney and I am a student in Mr. Emmert’s Digital Photography class at Heritage High School in Vancouver, WA. This was my favorite because it’s like a ‘Grr’ face. A girl actually commented on this picture and said that it made her “think twice about messing with house hold items”. I found that quite amusing 🙂 I’m Courtney and I am a student in Mr. Emmert’s Digital Photography class at Heritage High School in Vancouver, WA. This was the first “face” that I found and I thought it was really cute like a sad puppy almost. I was like wow I never realized how many smilies there are everywhere! 🙂 I’m Courtney and I am a student in Mr. Emmert’s Digital Photography class at Heritage High School in Vancouver, WA. This soda smiley caught my attention and I thought it was the cute because it has the “Ahhh don’t drink me”, face to it 🙂 I’m Courtney and I am a student in Mr. Emmert’s Digital Photography class at Heritage High School in Vancouver, WA. I found this in my brothers room and I thought it really portrayed the happiness of little boys when they play video games. 🙂 My name is Ashley and I am a student in Mr. Emmert’s Digital Photography class at Heritage High School in Vancouver, WA. i think its great what this website does so I’m submitting as many smiles as possible. This was sent by my husband (he’s on a business trip in Texas) and he sent us a photo of his dinner. Both kids said, “It’s a Smiley!” Enjoy, Lori Medea’s sun-chariot, drawn by two serpents, on ancient Greek vase painting. Found this light fixture and was thinking about Spontaneous Smiley and took it with my iPhone. An 1×8 that was fixing up a camper and was cutting would and found this smiley face on a piece of wood that is now in the camper. We saw it on a tv news segment and came across a smiley and laughed how ironic smilies are in life and how spontaneous it was to just find a random smiley on a piece of wood. Eagle eye Keri spotted this truck at the mall in Tracy, CA. Look up for a surprise smiley. These cookies were “discovered” by my boyfriend (he’s well aware of my smiley affinity) while he was eating Snackwells. He said, “Aww, a smiley!” and we started laughing about how it looked so judgemental, uncaring, etc. then made fun of how in a certain light it looked like it had a sweatband on its “forehead.” He sat it down and wondered aloud if there were more, so he found its brother, who equally looked so accusatory of the offending snacker………..we got SO tickled at their expressions!!!!They are indifferent to your cravings. I guess I see who was watching us as we all took a test. I looked down at the table in a bar and found a Smiley waiting for me.

I live and work in Brighton where there seems to be a face on every corner, fence and door. I began taking pictures of faces by accidentally catching one in an otherwise tedious photo of the shadow of a fence. Haven’t really stopped seeing them since.
Ruth: I love that your story says it made you laugh. That’s what it’s all about. If you carry the idea of Spontaneous Smiley around in the back of your mind, then several times a day you may stumble across one and have that moment of joy!
