This polystyrene smiley is happy because he will never, ever decompose in the landfill! This was the packaging for a laser kaleidoscope we got for Christmas.

I see this every day…but didn’t really see it until I started looking for smiles.

I’m a nature buff always looking out my window for somehting interesting.  Yesterday our stormy, snowy sky produced really beautiful images.  I didn’t realize I had a smiley until I looked at the photo.  I’m in the four corners area of NM.
Thanks for posting my sky blue smiley photo.  My daughter lives in the Bay Area and sent me the link to your website.  Smileys have played an important part in our lives ever since she was a very young girl. I’ll continue watching for those smiles!
