I had the best lunch break of the month!
My workplace in San Ramon has rows of Crepe Myrtles that are shedding their bark in August.
The smileys were Everywhere!
It took me 30 minutes to walk a quarter-mile,
I was admiring so many! This is the absolute best- a Double smiley!!
If you turn this 180 degrees, you will see another smiley!!

This Crepe Myrtle tree has got to be a girl, the Smiley looks like lipstick!

As Crepe Myrtle trees ‘molt’ their bark the tree’s limbs have Smileys, too!

August must be when the Crepe Myrtle trees shed their bark,
creating BARKing Smileys everywhere.

We have a huge greenbelt at my workplace, including waterfowl…
feathers make wonderful Smileys.

It’s great when you take a break at work and find Smileys.

Found the first two Smileys in my toasted bagels
(center hole = mouth, two little air pockets above = eyes)
and then put them on a plate…et voila!
A smiley hat trick!

Crazy Looking with the sun coming through it from behind!

It’s cool when you look down and see the reflection of a light is creating
a smiley on chrome.

10 year anniversary, first time away from our 3 kids,
couples’ massage followed by steam room and shower…
the shower was smiling at us!
