When I opened a new jar of strawberry preserves I noticed this happy expression on the underside of the lid. Because I had no one to share this sighting with, I  felt compelled to snap a photo so I would remember. this experience and share this ‘vision’ with others.  Unfortunately in the two years since I’ve taken this photo, I haven’t seen another spontaneous sighting — but I will continue searching.

Shopping at Walmart, I caught this toothbrush holder smiling at me.

I read about your project shortly before a trip to NYC. I saw these while walking around and couldn’t help but snap a pic! There’s something about them that remind me of the tragedy/comedy theater faces, which seems appropriate for NY.

I just sent along a pair of smilies from NY like this — I tried another one from a lower angle. Personally, I kind of like the pair better.

I found this little fellow on the ground walking to my car after work at a garden nursery.  It came about as a result of a stormy day and stuff flying around.  Every landed in place to form a perfect happy face in the parking lot!
