It’s also Be a Kid Again Day over on a calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness. I have absolutely no problem celebrating this one, EVERY day (unlike my refusal to participate in Nude Recreation Week this week.).
Today Kevin Bacon turns 57, born in 1958. Perhaps people born before Kevin could, instead of saying they are older than dirt, say they are older than bacon. Happy birthday, Kevin.
Other birthdays celebrated today include my big brother David (1953). I sure hope he gets to have a whole lot more! Also celebrating, the classy Angelica Houston (1951).
On this day in 1974, Hank Aaron hit his 715th home run to surpass Babe Ruth‘s long held record. I can just imagine the joyous celebration in the stadium that day! I bet it was so much fun!
