It’s the start of Never Stop Being Creative Week over on the September calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness.
Mary Poppins, the movie, was released on this day in 1964. It’s movie with a lot of wise messages about making the life you want and deciding to be happy. If you haven’t introduced it to the children in your life, it’s quite a bit better than a lot of what is being served up for kids these days. Give it a try. I bet everyone will be glad you did.
We also have Reading Day and Comic Book Day. Again get a kid interested in reading, and pass no judgment if they choose to read a comic book. After all reading is reading, and reading is good!
