Life without a 20 pound music player, on the other hand, is quite fine.
Today’s Smiley photo looks a little flirty doesn’t it! This boom box sat on the counter at my preschool for years. It was almost as happy as I was, to be there.
It’s also World Vegetrarian Day over on the October calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness.
How great is this? Day one of Eats Lots of Cookies Month is also Homemade Cookie Day. Nothing better than nipping cookie dough from the bowl and eating cookies so hot your spit sizzles!

It’s also Denim Day, both today and on the 5th of October. I guess we all love denim so much it gets 2 days of celebration. Is there anyone in America that doesn’t own a pair of jeans?
Additionally it’s Older People Day. Older than whom?
Back in 1959, The Twilight Zone debuted on this day. Aren’t we lucky to be able to still watch those good old shows? Thanks to all the people out there who figured out how to make this content available. I think I might just have to pop over to YouTube and watch an episode.
