Here’s some crazy news: Todays’s Smiley, Brick Front Porch Smiley–blown up super huge, is a permanent installation in a children’s museum in Kentucky.
I have so many Building Supply Smileys, I can’t resist sharing one.
It’s Clean Off Your Desk Day and Thank You Day. If somebody cleaned off my desk for me, I’d surely say, “thank you.” My desk is currently as messing as it’s ever been, ever.
It’s also Hot Toddy Day. Now that sounds perfect for all the people I know who are down with the flu. It’s crazy how many people have been sick lately! Guess that makes today’s other holiday a perfect fit; it’s Pharmacist Day.
I hope all the birthday celebrants aren’t coughing and moaning with the flu. They are: Mary Blige (1971), Naomi Judd (1946), and Clarence Clemons (1942).
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness Splash in Puddles Day. Calvin, of Calvin and Hobbs, and I share a perspective on this joyful activity. Absolutely an activity steeped in happiness. Here’s my favorite comic strip ever. It’s about puddle splashing.
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
Plus, as is often the case, the Build Something Smiley you get in the Smiley-a-Day emailer is different from what you see here.
