Today we say happy birthday to Audrey Hepburn (1929), Randy Travis (1959), Lance Bass (1979), and Jackie Jackson (1951). I’ve been given reasons to smile from each of these performers. Have you? If you had to pick one to dine with, which would you choose. I think I’d go for Ms. Hepburn (at first I typed Audrey and that just felt wrong).

There are a slew of holidays for today. Weird how somedays hardly any and then today we get Day of Giving, Candied Orange Peel Day, Star Wars Day, Renewal Day, Space Day, Scrapbooking Day, Hold Hands Day and my personal favorite: Respect for Chickens Day.
Today we also honor lllustrators of Comics and Cartoons. Certainly no one will claim never to have smiled at their labors! As a kid I read every Tin Tin book. As a mom I read them all again, this time out loud to my kids. No one should ever poo-poo kids about reading comics; reading is reading!
BTW, the Smileys on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see in the Daily Smiley.
