Today is also a day set aside to celebrate nurses. On my trip to Paraguay and again in the Philippines and in Mexico, volunteering with Operation Smile, I was repeatedly in awe of the amazing work of the nurses! As I type this I realize I need to make a video from the recent mission to Bolivia!!
Today we say happy birthday to George Clooney (1961). A certain Jazzercise teacher I know is over the moon for George. Who can blame her. That George is a looker and just keeps getting cuter. Also celebrating today are Bob Seger (1945), Willie Mays (1931), and Roma Downey (1960). BTW, Roma Downey deserves all kinds of kudos for the work she does for Operation Smile!
