Today is a day for comfy, cozy times because it’s Bring Your Teddy Bear to Work or School Day. Pair that with the fact it’s also No Bra Day and you can take comfy, cozy to a whole new level. Actually I’m not all that keen on going braless, ’cause I used to be a 32B, but now I’m a 32 long.
Over on the October calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Be Skeptical Day. I always figure that being skeptical is NOT the same as being cynical. It’s more a matter of looking at things closely and wondering if there is an out-of-the-box way to look at the situation. This is particulary important as we strive to be empathetic. A skeptic looks at all sides of a situation, everyone’s perspective–and that’s good!
Happy Birthday to Paul Simon (1941), Ashanti(1980), and Marie Osmond (1959). This musical threesome can all celebrate with some Yorkshire Pudding, the dessert of the day! I’d love to join them for their birthday dinner.
