Just had this funny thought. Today’s quote would also have been fitting for yesterday‘s smiley.
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Cappuccino Day. I don’t imagine there’ll be any arm twisting necessary to get everyone to comply.
It’s also Thank a Punster Day. I love, love, love a pun. No way do I agree with the false assertion that a pun is a low form of humor. It takes a quick mind to think up word plays!
X-rays discover this day, 1895.
It is also Xray Day. I think everybody remembers seeing Xray Specs. And of course the implication that they’d work to look through people’s clothing. But surly if they can look through fabric they see right past skin to show bones and organs. I still laugh when I see those ads in comic books.
Since it is also Dance Day, I’m sharing some of my favorite songs and the invitation to click and dance and feel your mood lift. Wait a minute. Dance Day was yesterday…today, too? No complaint from me.
Today we say happy birthday to Chef Gordon Ramsey (1966), Esther Rolle (1920), and Bonnie Raitt (1949).
