Today there are two food holidays you might enjoy during that dinner with a friend. It is both Cheesecake Day and Shredded Wheat Day. I think I’ll go for the former.
It’s also Make Someone Smile Day. Let’s try for that one every day! Speaking of which, let’s all start using MMS (Made Me Smile), instead of LOL. LOL is getting tired and needs a break.
Over on our calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Go For a Hike Day. I always mean to. I know if I go, I’ll have fun. I love being out in the sunshine. There are always Smileys to be found in nature. So why don’t I hike more? Maybe today would be better called Get Off Your Lazy Butt and Go For a Hike Day.
Today we say happy birthday to Lisa Kudrow (1963). Which other Friends star celebrated his birthday this month? Another actor celebrating his birth today is Laurence Fishburne (1961). Then there’s also guitarist Buddy Guy (1936).
