June 12
Peanut Butter
Cookie Day
A silly joke instead of a quote today,
’cause there just aren’t a lot
of quotes about peanuts!
A guy walks into the doctor’s office. A banana stuck in one of his ears, a peanut in the other ear, a carrot stuck in one nostril, and a blueberry in the other nostril.
The man says, “Doc, what’s wrong with me?”
The doctor says, “Well, first of all, you need to eat more sensibly.”
It’s also Exercise Your Memory Day. So don’t forget to go to a month of Smiley Silliness where you’ll find a whole month of Smileys and weird holidays. There we celebrate the beginning of Smile Power Week.
Also on this day, in 1880, John Lee Richmond pitched the 1st perfect game. I wonder if he made it into the Baseball Hall of Fame, opened this day in 1939.
And just for good measure (and good feelings), it’s also Loving Day. I love Summer Vacation which begins this week. I bet June feels pretty lucky to be a month filled with so many happiness inducing days. I’ve always thought that people named June must feel special!
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are usually (but not today, sorry!) different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
