Remembering yesterday‘s celebration of the A.S.P.C.A., remember to adopt–never shop–for that pet you should photograph today!
It’s also Cheer Up the Lonely Day over on a calendar of a month full of Smiley Silliness. It takes so little to bring joy to someone else. I think we all know someone who feels a tad lonely. How about you being the one that steps up? Quick phone call or email could make their day. It’ll be a win-win kind of thing!
Might I suggest a silly blueberry riddle, in honor of Blueberry Muffin Day. It could cheer a person up.
It’s also the anniversary of Babe Ruth‘s 1st day in the majors (1914). Having been called Baby Ruth my whole life, I have a special place in my heart for Babe Ruth… I’m also a big baseball fan. Let’s go Oakland!!
It’s Be a Vegetarian Day. Try it for a day and you’ll see how easy it is. One day could turn into one day every week, could turn into leaving meat behind altogether. It’d be good for you, and good for the planet, and good for the animals!
What’s today’s date?? 7/11, that’s right. This day in 1927 the first 7/11 store opened.
