Eat Jello Day
“Whoever said nothing is impossible,
obviously hasn’t tried
nailing Jell-O to a tree.”
~ John Candy
You are missed.
John Candy was certainly a playful man. That’s why I used his quote during this Playful Week.
Today is the birthday with the Etch a Sketch (1960). I haven’t played around on one of those in years. I’m going to change that ASAP. We all need to have more fun! Play with more toys!
Oscar Hammerstein, born this day in 1895, thanks for the songs that fill my head and lift my spirits. You were one of the greats! And this was one of your best. Other birthdays include Richard Simmons (1948), Kristi Yamaguchi (1971), and Milton Berle (1908).
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness you’ll see Pool Steps Smiley from my trip to Austin, TX.
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
Plus as is often the case, just for grins, you get a different Jello Pudding Smiley in the Smiley-a-Day emailer.
