I almost got arrested getting today’s Smiley. Evidentally taking pictures in Safeway Grocery store is not allowed.
It is also both Angel Day and Nurse Day. Coincidence? I think not. Volunteering with Operation Smile has given me the chance to become friends with some amazing nurses!

Let’s see. Who gets one of those decorated cakes for their birthday today? Ben Vereen (1946), Tanya Tucker (1958), Mario Lopez (1973), Thelonious Monk (1917), and Bradley Whitford (1959). Unless they’d prefer oatmeal . . . for Eat Your Oatmeal Day. I’m kind of thinking that the choice between cake and oatmeal is going to leave oatmeal out in the cold–and no one likes cold oatmeal.
