Today we begin YOU Matter Week. I’d love to turn you all onto a very cool speaker who talks about You Matter. Click to watch Angela Maiers‘ super, really great, amazing Ted Talk. I bet Angela never thought she and Groucho and necking would all wind up together. That thought MMS (Made Me Smile, it’s the new LOL. After all LOL is tired and has earned a rest.). Additionally, it’s Improve Your Office Day. I just did that with this totally cool ceiling light fixture! It’s making me giddy I love it so much. It’s good to let little things bring you joy. There’s nothing wrong with an object bringing you pleasure. To celebrate the good feelings you experience is to enhance them 10 fold.

Happy birthday, Susan Surandon (1946) and Tony Larussa (1944). Tony not only coached my beloved Oakland A’s but also founded ARF, the Animal rescue Foundation. Cool that Tony’s birthday falls during Adopt a Shelter Animal Month and Pet Day.
Today is also the anniversary of my first day in attending college, way back in 1976 when I was 17.
