November 5
Maple Syrup Day
Which dinosaur
loves pancakes?
Tri-SYRUP-tops!
Sometimes there are just
no quotes to be found.
In that case, you get a dumb joke.
The dumber the better.
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Saxophone Players Day. Please no emails about the Smiley picture on the November calendar actually being a clarinet. A clarinet was the best I could find. Anyone out there with a Saxophone Smiley, upload that baby.
Additionally, it is both Electric Shaver Day (patented this day in 1928) and Donut Day. Great ways to start out the day . . . but what about later on? Oh yeah, listen to some jazz and celebrate the saxophone you hear. Art Garfunkel and John Phillip Souza were both born on this day, 1941 and 1854 respectively. Bet they both loved the sax.
I actually recognized quite a few of today’s birthday celebrants. Not being young and hip, many of the faces I see, when I search, don’t mean diddly to me. Today we also say happy birthday to Kevin Jonas (1987), Bryan Adams (1959), Art Garfunkle (1941), Vivien Lee (1913), and Tatum O’Neal (1963).
BTW, the Smileys on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see in the Daily Smiley. However today’s Syrup Smiley does appear later this month on a month full of Smiley Silliness.
