It is Hoodie Hoo Day. At noon today we must all holler “Hoodie Hoo” sending our cry out to the universe. Why? To chase away winter and beckon spring.

It’s also Love Your Pet Day on the monthly calendar. I love my pets, my 4 cats, deeply. I can’t imagine a life without cats. Here’s the funny thing, I’m quite allergic to cats, but that didn’t happen until I was a teenager and by then I was already well on my way to being a crazy cat lady. Crazy Cat Lady, a moniker I wear with pride. I hope you’ll check out all the fun holidays and Smileys on this month’s Month of Smiley Silliness.
Today we say happy birthday with Cherry Pie. You guessed it, it’s Cherry Pie Day, too. Today’s birthdays are Kurt Cobain (1967), Rihanna (1988), Ansel Adams (1902), and the always wonderful Sidney Poitier (1927). And then of course there’s the fact that today is the birthday of one of my kids!!
