Over on our calendar, Month of Smiley Silliness, it’s Diesel Engine Day. I’ve always been fond of big machinery and big trucks. Maybe because they are covered in Smileys!! No kidding. Another of Michael Jackson’s kids has a birthday this month. Today we say happy birthday to Blanket Jackson (2002). I’ve always wondered if they actually use the name Blanket or if they’ve come up with something a little more name-like. BTW, I think that’s the 1st time we’ve commemorated a birthday here with a birth year in this century.
