We’re mid-week in Act Happy, Be Happier Week! I absolutely know this works. That doesn’t mean ignore or deny your sadness. But do, do the things that help you get through the sadness–like smile more. Even when I think it won’t work, I also know that it will.

Today we say happy birthday to Nat King Cole (1919), Patrick Duffy (1949), Kurt Russell (1951), and Rob Lowe (1964). I didn’t even have to think it over, today’s imaginary dinner date is with cutie-patootie Rob! Whom would you pick?
Oh yeah, and for some crazy reason, everyone’s wearing green today. Maybe birthday boy Patrick knows. That’s a hint. A pinch preventing hint.
