Lemon Day
Lemon Riddle:
Q: What did the lemon
say to the lime?
A: Sour you doing?
It’s Clam Day. If you’re a clam eater, you might just be needing some lemons. Hope you find one that’s a tad less rotten than the Lemon Smiley you see here!
The creator of the Bunsen Burner was born on this day in 1811 and is the reason why today we celebrate Bunsen Burner Day. Not being a science-y type, I never got too excited about science we learned in school. Well except in high school, there was sophomore year and being paired with Scott Landis for my Biology partner. That felt like a bit of a thrill. LOL.
Today we also say happy birthday to Al Gore (1948) and Cesar Chavez (1927). Good guys, both. Doing good. The day is also shared with Shirley Jones (1934), Christopher Walken (1943), Ewan McGregor (1971), and Rhea Perlman (1948). For a dinner companion, I think I’d choose Rhea. She could bring Danny along. We could make room for him at our table–after all he’s not very big (just kidding). Whom would you choose?
Check out all the different Smileys, holidays and quotes over on a Month of Smiley Silliness. There it is ‘Tater Day today. There are no shortage of Potato Smileys.
Get ready. April will be here tomorrow. April is Humor Month so you better get ready planning pranks and memorizing jokes.
BTW, the Smileys and holidays on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see here on the website’s Daily Smiley.
Plus as is often the case, the Lemon Smiley you get in today’s daily emailer is different from the one you see here.
DID I MISS ANY GOOFY, SILLY, UPBEAT HOLIDAYS??
