Today is also Your Feets Too Big Day in honor of composer Fats Waller‘s birthday in 1904. The holiday is also the title of a classic song by Fats Waller released in 1942.
It’s also Waiter and Waitress Day. Next time you’re out to eat, how’s about leaving an amazing tip, so amazing it blows their mind and they tell everyone about it for days and days and never, ever forget. Doing that for another person is worth spending money you’ll never really miss.
Today we also say happy birthday to Mr. T (1952), Ronald Isley (1941), and Al Franken (1951). Who’d have thought that goofy old Al would end up a Senator?! He’d be an interesting dinner companion.
