As we continue Watermelon Seed Spitting Week/Have Fun With Fruit Week, I had this happy thought: Clearly we do this all the time–just look at all the food Smileys found by Smiley Captains. Since today is Watermelon Day, you can get right on with your celebrating.

Both the Donut and the Chocolate Eclair claim today as their own. To keep them from duking it out, we might all need to eat one of both. I’m up for the task. Are you? FYI: Supposedly the donut was Invented on this day in 1847. I’ll have to check with my donut expert on that one. Paolo?
