Another quote comes from birthday boy Snoop Dogg (1973): If it’s flipping hamburgers at McDonald’s, be the best hamburger flipper in the world. Whatever it is you do, you have to master your craft. Tom Petty (1953) also celebrates his birthday today.
I smiled when I read that Be Sweet Day falls on Sweet Tooth Day.
Making Cheesecake Smiley
Another holiday for today that fits right in with Sweet Tooth Day is Pumpkin Cheesecake Day. I’ve got to stay, I can’t quite see why anyone would want to mess with something as perfect as cheesecake or as wonderful as pumpkin pie. Somethings were destined to be together (peanut butter and chocolate for instance), but not these two classics. Just my opinion.
It’s Be Screen Free Day over on a month full of Smiley Silliness. Can you do it? We’ve gotten so connected to our devices. I admit, I take my phone with me when I go to the bathroom. I might need to go to Hawaii to break free . . .
