It’s also Cocoa Day, again. Same as yesterday. Makes sense with the chilly weather we’ve been having. But Ice Cream Day? In December? I know. Maybe we all need to put a dollop of ice cream in our cocoa.
Today is the anniversary of the patent for the Clip On Tie back in 1928. Handy, but not dandy.

It’s also Violin Day and Vinyl Records Day. If you have a record with a violin playing you could pop it on the old turntable and celebrate both.
Happy Birthday to Dick Van Dyke. Happy 89th birthday!! I will always love Chim Chim Cher-ee from Mary Poppins. Other birthdays for today are Taylor Swift (1989), Jamie Foxx (1967), and Ella Baker (1903).
BTW, the Smileys on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see in the Daily Smiley. There it’s Avocado Day. Avocado, one of my favorite fruits!
