Baby,
It’s Cold
Outside Day
Laughter is the sun
that drives winter
from the human face.
~ Victor Hugo
Happy birthday to George Burns (1896). I don’t often type a birth year that starts with 18. George was born just one year before my sweet Grandma Ruth for whom I am named. I sure miss having Grandma Ruth around! George, you too are missed..
How about a few birthday peeps who are still alive: Buzz Aldrin (1930), Bill Maher (1956), David Lynch (1946), and my personal favorite Rainn Wilson (1966). Rainn is the heart and soul of Soul Pancake–now there’s some fun TV viewing!
And in honor of Coffee Break Day, I’m stepping away from the computer and making me a cup ‘o joe! I do so love, and recommend, taking a mid day break to do nothing but sit (and sip) in silence. You gotta latte yourself relax now and then!
Today is also Camcorder Day. For all you young whippersnappers, a camcorder was a gigantic thing we used to use to make videos. It was about as big as a typewriter, but then you probably don’t know what a typewriter is either! LOL, ask an old person; they are fountains of knowledge and the bearers of information we should not let slip away, as they slip away. Take this as a reminder to learn all you can from the older people in your life.
Over on a month full of Smiley Silliness it’s Hat Day. Zipping up and wearing a hat when baby it’s cold outside makes purr-fect sense. I’ve always wanted to be a hat wearer; they always look so darned cute! If you’re a curly girly or guy who doesn’t want the curls turned into the hat head look try a nice visor! Click that link (you know the blue words in the last sentence) to read my blog about the benefits of talking to strangers!
BTW, the Smileys on a month full of Smiley Silliness are all different than the ones you see in the Daily Smiley.
